Our great handy man - James!!!

James has been busy remodeling our garage. He is really a handy man. He knows how to do some easy plumbing, carpetry and eletrical work too. " chin gao"! :) He bought a lot of tools and equipemts. It's good that he knows how to do and willing to do this kinda stuff because it's very expensive to hire someone else to do that. I am so pround of him too, he learned all the techniqus from books and you-tube, is unbelieveable!!!! An accountant knows how to remodel a house. Will show "after" picture when everything is done. I play an important role too, guess what??? I have to clean all the mess every time the job is done!!! I am a "ah sei" :P

Picnic with Kate

Went to picnic with Kate today at Lake Merced. It's a beautiful day today. I bought a sandwich which costs me $4 and comes with a free kids meal ( sandwich, chips and drink) at Quizons, very good deal indeed!!! Just finished washing my car and did my laundry.

Kate got effected by Strep throat

We went to see doctor yesterday. According to the doctor, strep throat is caused by viruses and bacteria that make the throat irritate. The picture shows swollen lymph nodes in her neck is one of the symptoms. Thank god that she is not having any fever nor cold. She is under medication for 10 days. Poor Kate! XOXOXO

Farmer's Market

We'd been back from Macau for a month, the weather in S.F seemed very foggy for the past few weeks. It's great when we woke up this morning, it's sunny day!!!!I like to go to Farmer's Market. Normally I go every Sunday morning. They have seasonal vegetables and fruits. Oh yeah they are some food stalls. So far my favourite are fried pork and chive bun and naan with curry. The price there is not really lower than supermarket but I like it because they come with small bunch and fresh. Kate likes the mini cupcake there , it's $1 each.

Baking Cookies with Kate

I always wanted to bake cookies with Kate. I bought this beautiful set of Hello Kitty cookies cutter the other day. Kate had so much fun to "play" with the dough :) James joined us after half way. Even though is messy but is fun seeing Kate enjoyed it so much. The cookies turned out not really bad except few of them hardly can tell the design because of I did not press the cutter hard.

Lazy Me

I've not updated my blog for months... this is Kate's latest picture. She likes to post every time I take picture of her. James always complaint that I bought so much "girly" color for Kate, so I decided to try something new this time. I got her a dark grey sweater from H & M kids.

Macau

We were in Macau for 3 weeks. How was my trip??? Freaking HOT HOT HOT!!!! The 2nd pic taken on James' B-day. I ordered a special cow cake for him. He seemed very happy, relax and enjoy during his stay in Macau. I was passed out when we were in Ocean Park. I swear I won't go to Macau during summer no more. The best part was I went to a fashion wholesales mall in H.K, I bought so much clothing :) Oh did not forget to mention that I met my long-time friend - Grace and her hubby, Nicky. She brought me alot of " POPO" muruku and Twisties ( my childhood snacks) We had so much fun together. One thing I am so proud of is Kate. She's such a well behaved girl. Never complaint wherever she went with us. She was having fun in Macau too, because everyone loved her alot. After we come back, she seemed speak more fluent cantonese.
