Nothing is fair in this freaking world!!!!

Is money important??? I think it is, at least for our basic needs. My life in S.F consider medium average because only one house-hold income. We have alot of expenses here such as mortgage, health insurance, property tax, food , tuition fee etc etc.....I've known alot of people here ( mostly from mainland china * no offense*) they got all kind of benefits from government like food stamp, medical, WIC, free education....you name it they got it. BUT they drive about $50K car. Do you think this is fair? We have to pay like 40% out of our income and they can get few thousands $$$ for tax returns every year. Where does government got these money??? All are from us ( tax payer). James has to work till midnight 7 days a week during tax season ( sick to death) in order to make sure we can pay off our monthly expenses and bills. And "those people" who drives luxury car just work few hours a day without any pressures.

James has a client who is a PHD in Psychologist. Her husband made $200K annually in a I.T company and she owned her clinic which made around $10k a year. Because they are in a high tax bracket (57%) After she paid the 57% tax she only have $4k, she can't even afford a child care for her kids.

Sometime we can't blame why those Americans discriminate "Asians". Especially those new immigrants keep taking the benefits. They never contributed any single penny before they are eligible for the benefits. They barely know ABC. Some can't even speak a single english.

Alot of my friends thought we had a very luxury life here. I told them in terms of quality of life we are but we work till our ass off. Sigh****

Kate is 3!

Today is Kate 3rd bday. I baked a Pandan Chiffon and Chocolate cupcakes for her. She requested a mermaid character cake. I spent about 5 hours to complete the whole cake. I used a sea-shell dark chocolate to decorate the cake.

Ballet Class

Kate had been bugging me for signing up a ballet class since she's 2 year old. I told her that she's still young. Today I finally signed her up for her very first ballet class. No doubt she loves it. I was surprised that she'd able to understand ( follow the steps that she has been told by the instructor)and did well in her class.

Happy Easter!

Today is Good Friday. Good Friday is the Friday immediately preceding Easter Sunday. It is celebrated traditionally as the day on which Jesus was crucified. Most the shops will be closed on Easter Sunday. One of the popular activities for kid is "EGG HUNT"
Here are same pics we went for egg hunt in a beautiful park last week:-
